Nikki Valenti

Nikki Valenti is married to Ben Westendorf.  They are the parents of two girls in the Webster Groves school district. Nikki has owned a company called Cleary Nikki for over 20 years where she is an intuitive consultant. She utilizes this unique skillset with people and companies that want to continue to capitalize on the upper limits of their potential. Founded on a cornerstone belief in a whole life, her passion has always been social emotional learning to enhance self-awareness throughout her career and parenting. She has been involved with local Girl Scout Troops, the Strong Girls Strong World organization, Your Infinite Life Training and Coaching Company as well as substitute pre-school teaching in the Clayton School District.  ZenCity is her desire to be the voice of children and finding interesting, interactive, and supportive ways to grow social emotional learning as it relates to children of today.  

Melissa McCartie

Melissa McCartie has been an executive search consultant for over 20 years, working with a large national search firm and more recently her own firm, Candela Consulting. She has recruited top talent in healthcare, not-for-profit and industry at the C level. She has training in Emotional Intelligence and Appreciative Inquiry and has given presentations on both to classes at Washington University and at national healthcare conferences. Melissa is married to Brian McCartie and they have two children in the WGSD, one at Steger and one at the high school. Melissa has been highly involved in the Webster Groves School District at the school and district level. She is a past Vice President and President of Bristol Elementary’s PTO and was a room parent for 10 years.  She has been the Chair of multiple large fund raisers at Bristol and served on the WGSD Foundation board. She is currently on the WGSD Foundation committee to judge and award grants.  Melissa was the founding board Chair of Annie's Hope, a local not-for-profit in operation for over 20 years. Melissa's hope for ZenCity is to bring innovative programs to Webster Groves to assist youth in developing tools for success and peace in a rapidly changing, technology driven world.
